Often I wonder how it could be.
That Jesus could love someone like me.
The things I do wrong,I cant understand.
How He is so willing to hold my hand.
A sinner saved by His grace so Divine.
He shed His life's blood for all mankind.
I'm no one special,this world does not know me.
Yet He took the time and love,He did show me.
He let's me know when I'm in the wrong.
Like a Father,He watches over me all day long.
He's there when I need Him,He never sleeps.
He's the all seeing eye,my soul He doth keep.
Sometimes my faith gets weak,when the wind's start to blow.
That's when I hear Him say(Child I am here don't you know?)
I will never leave or forsake you.
I am that I am,I am always here to guide you take hold of my hand.
My eye's cannot see Him,but my soul can defiantly feel.
The presence of my Lord is,oh so real.
I'm always in need of prayer's that's what gets me through the day.
Just to know someone cares enough to pray.
I'm trying really hard to do what is right.
It's a ongoing battle,each day I must fight.
But if I would lay my every care upon Him.
He'll carry me through this Vally so dim.
I just want to praise Jesus for saving a wretch like me.
He's made away for us to live Eternally.
